Creating an online writing portfolio/website could be an intimidating task for someone who is just starting off. Staring at a blank screen for hours and not really sure where to begin or what to say?


Here is a list of 11 freelance content writer websites that belong to successful professionals, which may be just what you need to put your best foot forward.


He is an award-winning blogger whose blog was voted "Top 10 Blogs on Writing" in 2011, 2012, and 2014. He is also a best-selling author of five books, The Art of Work being one of them.

After a few big names it is only fair that I add a name to the list who relatively is a beginner. Mia Salas is one of the first influencers on TikTok whose content gave me the courage to pursue my career in content writing.


She writes for quite a few publications and has a very strong social media presence. She recently found herself a position as a content designer at Meta (Facebook).


Her website is a great example of what a good beginner-level content writer website should look like.

Compared to many of these decade-old veterans, I would have to consider myself brand new. Having said that I do take pride in the website I have created. Given my research, the least I could do is create a decent website I guess.
